Zoë: Women’s Designer Apparel, Straight from the Runway to Your Closet at The Residences at Palmer Square

Isabel Marant. DVF. Rag & Bone. Current/Elliott. A.L.C. Helmut Lang. J Brand. Tibi. It's this eclectic mix of designers that, according the Zoë Facebook page, "sets [this women's boutique apart] from its look-a-likes." It's also the reason behind Zoë's healthy client base (women of all ages are known to browse the racks here), as well as the shop's longevity: Zoë has been a member of Princeton's retail scene since 1995.

Owner Lisa Brock is yet another reason for the boutique's success. A graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology, Brock is regularly in the audience at all the larger fashion shows, so you can rest assured that everything on display at Zoë is reflective of the latest looks and trends from the runway. One final thing to note: Zoë stocks footwear, handbags, and accessories in addition to apparel. Stop in now to see new clutches from Lanvin, and check out the shop's sale section—you're likely to find a new item for your closet at The Residences at Palmer Square!

Old Barracks Museum: North America’s Last Remaining British Military Barracks Is Only a 30-Minute Drive from The Residences at Palmer Square

Princeton is a town steeped in history, but diehard history buffs are encouraged to venture beyond our town's limits. That's the only way to discover the Old Barracks Museum in Trenton, a Revolutionary War site that's about 13 miles from The Residences at Palmer Square.

Built in 1758, this colonial barracks — the last of its kind in North America, per the museum's website — provided shelter to British soldiers during the French and Indian War. It was also used by American troops during the Revolutionary War, then lived on to serve as a military hospital and private homes before becoming a museum in October 1903. Today, the Old Barracks Museum is owned and maintained by the state of New Jersey.

Every year, tens of thousands of visitors explore the barracks to experience living history as costumed docents provide guided tours. Don't depart without a lap around the museum's Quartermaster's Store, home to handicrafts, teas, candles, and gifts with a colonial theme!

Put Your Best Face Forward for the Holiday Season With Help From Godfrey Fitzgerald Salon, Located Just a Stone’s Throw From The Residences at Palmer Square

"Through our artistry, creativity, and culture, the ultimate mission of the Godfrey Fitzgerald Experience is to inspire the beauty within us all." That's the driving force behind the services rendered at Godfrey Fitzgerald's eponymous and high-end salon in Princeton, just moments from The Residences at Palmer Square.

Behind this serious artistry, however, is a staff of experts who are more likely to be described as friendly and hospital than somber and pensive. In fact, if you take a look through the salon's reviews on Yelp, you'll see adjectives like approachable, warm, and friendly used to describe Godfrey Fitzgerald's roster of pro stylists. That said, the most praise is directed toward Godfrey Fitzgerald himself, who many herald as a "master stylist," and, indeed, his services will cost you more than those performed by other members of his staff (but well worth the extra cost, clients agree).

Rest assured that whoever's standing behind your chair, you're likely to walk out with a cut, color (go for the balayage!), or style that'll help you face the holiday season with renewed confidence.
